Paul E. Gordon, D.M.D., M.D.

Biography

Dr. Vanisky, Dr. Pace, and I welcome you to Burlington Oral Surgery.  We will ensure that you receive the most comprehensive, attentive, and up-to-date care possible.

I attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.  I received my DMD from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and my MD from Harvard Medical School.  I completed my residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).  After residency, I was the Pediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Research Fellow at MGH, instructor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and assistant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MGH.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am a clinical instructor at MGH, where I teach and supervise residents in oral and maxillofacial surgery.  I practice a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with specific interests in orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, pathology, and dentoalveolar surgery.  I have published book chapters, case reports, and peer-reviewed articles on various topics in the field.  I am a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS), and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).  I am married and have three beautiful young children and a yellow lab.  When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, and watching the Patriots.
